weather 2/16/12

Evaporation fog will give away to sunny skies with highs in the upper 30's to low 40's today. The low pressure system that moved through the state yesterday has now left and is providing Michigan with precipitation and lots of foggy conditions. There is a high pressure system to the west of the area and will move in during the later part of the day. The barometer is on the rise at 30.56 and the chance for precipitation is 10%. Despite these abnormally warm temperatures, there is a abnormal cold snap still occurring out in north Africa and in southern Europe. Snow has fallen in Algeria and other parts of the Mediterranean. I sure wish we could get some of that snow!
